This exhibition formed part of a collaboration last December between the Scottish Crannog Centre and PVAF - a unique Fire and ice Festival, which celebrated mid Winter through artwork, workshops and story-telling. The event included a selected exhibition of work by PVAF members relating to the Festival's Fire and Ice theme and location. This exciting, eclectic exhibition of 19 professional members was curated by Sarah Yearsley

Encounters with Event is the first in a series of three PVAF exhibitions happening at Threshold Artspace through 2011; the others, Encounters with Time and Encounters with Place will take place later in the year.
