FORMS OF NARRATIVE - the exhibition

Birnam Art Centre 3rd October - 30th October 2009
Exhibition opening 3rd October 1pm Snacks and drinks will be served.

The event will be opened by Arthur Watson a prestigious printmaker, sculptor and singer who co-founded Fine Art Publishing and the Centre for Artists' Books at Duncan of Jordanstone's Visual Research Centre, with Alec Finlay. In 1990 he represented Scotland at the Venice Biennale with David Mach and Kate Whiteford.

The Forms of Narrative exhibition consists of work from leading professional Lithuanian artists. Leaders of the Forms of Narrative workshops have also been invited to present one work for the exhibition.
The exhibition will act as a source of inspiration for the Forms of Narrative workshops, developing a new audience for high quality professional artwork showing in a rural location.
