As part of the PVAF event in 2006, participating artists were invited to submit images of a field. The image could be real or imaginary, a photograph with text, a painting, print or collage. The brief was simply that it had a transformational element.

The images were screened as a looped slide show at intervals during the Forum.

FurtherAfield was also shown at Kaire Desine Gallery in Vilnius Lithuania as part of the Remix exhibition.
