In our second year the decision to include two days resulted in us moving to a new venue at Birnam Arts Centre near Dunkeld.
Keynote speakers were: Julie Brook from Isle of Skye, Something Haptic from Glasgow,
Alison Bell from the Isle of Arran and David Hastie of LocusW in Wales.
Speakers leading the rural arts discussion were Alice Bain from Map magazine,
Claudia Zeiske of Deveron Arts Aberdeenshire, and Andy McKinnon of Taigh Chersabagh in North Uist.
There was a talk from Cultural Enterprise on professional practice with individual surgeries sessions bookable in advance.
Three International artists came from Lithuania representing the Graphic Workshop in Vilnius.
They brought with them an exhibition of prints from their members called 'Grafs' which was hung
in the gallery area throughout the event.
We were also joined by three artists from Spain, one from New Zealand and one from Germany.
Prior to the Saturday BBQ participants were taken the Threshold Media Space at
Perth Concert Hall for a preview of new commissions created in partnership with Valand school of art in Sweden.
Information stands were presented by WASPS, Creative Perthshire, a-n magazine,
Map magazine, Crafts Scotland, Scottish Artists Union, Spire Arts Centre Newburgh, Fife Print workshop.
