Kerry Morrison will give an
illustrated talks about her ecological
art
projects work
and specifically about
the commissioned work created
for the PVAF art trail.

40 minutes. He will introduce his own work but
will talk
specifically about the FRED
project in Cumbria- a dynamic project
of artworks in rural Cumbria
and his rural Fold gallery.
3.45 – 4.45 Discussion. Developing the Artwork Trail for 2009’. How do we proceed
with the art trail
next year to include opportunities for
PVAF artists and
involve the local community. What do we want, what
are our
expectations. What is
feasible.

Sandy Thomson ‘How to collaborate without losing your soul”
A lively
presentation with
room for debate and intervention.
11.30 -12.15 Laura Hunter. A painter from Glasgow
, Laura is a researcher for the
Scottish Artists Union and will talk about her work and in
particular her
experiences with galleries
including issues of VAT, late payments
and
contracts
12.15 – 12.45 Ohya Rica living on the slopes of Mount
Fuji , Rica will talk to us about
her work with natural materials and unfired
clay. She takes us back to the
heart and soul of
an artists practice.
